Ángela Carolina Botero Zuluaga, our newest student blogger, has been working as a journalist in her home country of Colombia, she knew that in order to achieve her goals of taking her career to the next level, she needed to improve her English language skills. Because Angela’s dreams also included international travel, particularly to Australia, when she discovered Embassy Melbourne, she knew had found the perfect programme. Although it sounds a little weird to me, Mini Pizza e Birra Festival is a mix of classic and contemporary. Throughout the day, you can enjoy some delightful opera music while sharing a pizza and beer made from famous Chef John Di Francesco.

Exercising your sense of humour is the best way to finish the weekend! Every Sunday at 7.30 pm top comedians at Club Voltaire Comedy take to the stage to joke and interact with their spectators. If you are in the midst of learning English this event is a good “excuse” to improve your listening skills.
