Embassy Alumni: Thai Royal Scholarship Winner Budsabakon Suwanakasa

In 2016, Embassy English was invited to The Royal Palace in Bangkok, Thailand to present three scholarships to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for exceptional Thai students to to participate in her Thai Royal Scholarship Program for English language studies. Khun Kru Budsabakon Suwanakasa was awarded one of the scholarships to study at Embassy San Francisco. Learn more about her experience studying English in the USA as part of our Embassy Alumni series.

I would like to say thank you to everyone for giving me such wonderful experiences at Embassy San Francisco.

I would first like to thank you to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and my school, Chitralada School for offering me a scholarship to come here. I’m very grateful. I pledge my loyalty to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, and I know I’ll be a good teacher, and work hard for my student and my school.

Embassy AlumniThe second I would like to say thank you to the Embassy English, Thailand which offered the scholarship to my Royal Highness.

The scholarship covered the tuition fee for an 8 weeks. General English course for the summer, Accommodations (2 meals Monday – Friday and 3 meals Saturday – Sunday) and Health insurance.

I would also like to say thank you to the Thai International Education Consultants Association (TIECA) for the round trip airline tickets. I appreciate it very much.

I would like to say thank you to Embassy English San Francisco. Thank you for your warm welcome, thank you for giving me such a great experiences.

My English skills improved very much in the 2 months that I was here. Thank you to all of my teachers for teaching me everything, you are the best teachers.

Thank you to the staff, you made me feel at home when I come on the first day, you made me feel like family. Thank you to my friends, I learned a lot from you. It has been a very wonderful time here.Embassy Alumni 18

Finally I would like to say thank you to my host family Ed Isana ‘s family. You are a very wonderful family. You helped me with everything. You made me feel like a member of your family.

Thank you for you good cooking, cleaning, traveling, and inviting me to your son’ school. I had such a nice experiences at your son‘s special class. It was a good for me and my students at Chitralada School. I have a lot of ideas to develop my special education curriculum. I’ll start on it right away when I go back to Thailand.
