One of the greatest parts of being a student at Embassy English are the experiences. Students come to Embassy not only to improve their English language skills, but also to explore new parts of the world, to take part in diverse cultural activities, and to meet people from all over the globe. This week Brazilian student Mayana Magalhaes Simoes De Oliveira tells us more about her experience at Embassy Boston as part of our series, My Embassy Life.
So, I am from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Before Embassy English, I was working in my city. I am Dance Teacher, Dancer and Choreographer.
I am in the TOEFL Class.
The dance company where I dance in Brazil has an exchange with an important center of dance and a dance company here in USA. Besides that, as I want to do a Master Degree, learning English became indispensable and it is better to learn abroad because I can have a real immersion in the language.
I already had studied at Embassy New York and I had a good time there.
I think that you offer a good support to the students (structure, good teachers, etc.) .
My English has improved a lot. Paying attention, doing homework, watching movies.
I think that trying use English the most of time.
English can bring me closer to other people and to my goals.
I don’t know yet… maybe to plan my next trip! 😀
My teacher Lynne for her smiles every day, her patience and competence to teach and her capacity to make classes always fun and interesting.« Previous post
