Each month our Embassy English centres plan a variety of activities where students can both explore their new host cities and have creative ways to bring their English language skills to life. Each centre compiles monthly calendars highlighting the upcoming social events, local cultural tours, and travel adventures where everyone can make new friends and practice speaking English. Embassy English Boston is practising English during weekly Conversation Clubs, celebrating diversity on Sudan Cultural Day, and learning to dance at MIT Social Swing Lesson.
Embassy English Long Beach is joining the Mardi Gras Parade, checking out Universal Studios, watching movies with new friends, and having brunch at the Queen Mary.
Embassy English Fort Lauderdale students are making new friends during weekly Writing Workshops, and taking tours of Miami and Everglades Park.
Embassy English New York students are learning about a new culture on Brazil Day, making friends while bowling, and eating famous cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery.
Embassy English San Diego is celebrating Spirit Week and Valentine’s Day with Bringing English to Life activities, listening to music at the Busker Festival Seaport Village.
Embassy English San Francisco students are exploring the USA with trips to Hollywood, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, and watching the Super Bowl with new friends.
Embassy English Toronto is improving their language skills with weekly Conversation Club meetings, and enjoying the Canadian outdoors with skiing and snowboarding trips.
Embassy English Brighton students are meeting new people during Salsa Class and table tennis matches, and taking a tour or Oxford, Windsor and Eton.
Embassy English Cambridge is having a musical month while watching Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, The Lion King, and singing Karaoke with friends.
Embassy English Central London students are visiting historic sites in London like The Tower of London, Notting Hill, and the National Maritime Museum.
Embassy English London Greenwich is making friends and getting fit with basketball, badminton, and a spooky London Ghost Walk.
Embassy English Hastings is taking Bringing English to Life weekend trips to Eastbourne and Seven Sisters, Cambridge, London, and Brighton.
Embassy English Oxford students are exploring England with visits to Bath and Stonehenge, Blenheim Palace, Warwich Castle, and London.
Embassy English Auckland students are exploring New Zealand with adventure trips to Coromandel, Lake Taupo. the Bay of Islands, and Wenderholm Beach.
Embassy English Brisbane students are getting into shape with free boxing lessons and yoga classes, and enjoying a delicious Valentine’s Day pizza party.
Embassy English Melbourne is visiting St. Kilda Beach, Collingwood Children’s Farm, the Melbourne Aquarium, and The Great Ocean Road.
Embassy English Surfers Paradise is learning how to surf, checking out the views from Skypoint, having a pizza party, and playing beach volleyball.
Embassy English Sydney students are enjoying the summer weather while learning to surf and listening to live music at Twilight at Taronga Summer Concert.
