Each month our Embassy English centres plan a variety of activities where students can both explore their new host cities and have creative ways to bring their English language skills to life. Each centre compiles a monthly calendar highlighting the upcoming social events, local cultural tours, and travel adventures where everyone can make new friends and practice speaking English.
This month, students in the USA are watching the ball drop on New Year’s Eve in Times Square and swimming with Santa in Los Angeles. In Canada, students are loving the cold weather as they learn how to ski and snowboard. In the UK, students are doing their holiday shopping at outdoor Christmas Markets and exploring Europe on a 10 day Holiday excursion. In Australia, students are singing Christmas carols on the beach and skydiving.
