Last Friday, Embassy English welcomed a delegation from Saudi Arabia, including the Saudi Ministry of Interior. Students from Saudi Arabia are an integral part of our Embassy English global nationality mix. In December 2015, Saudis made up 9% of the student body in our schools in the United Kingdom and Australia, 6% in New Zealand, and 13% in the USA. At Embassy Boston, 15% of our December 2015 students were from Saudi Arabia.
We were honored by the visit from the Saudi Ministry of Interior, and look forward to continuing our partnership which paves the way for Saudi citizens to improve their English language skills and continue their global education at Embassy English.
The Embassy Team, including Robert Morgan, Managing Director, Joe Shapiro, Global Embassy Students Services Director, Linda Walsh, Regional Manager New England, Kate Muhwati, Embassy IAC Manager, and JulieAnna Grubert, Program Manager Boston, were on hand to welcome the dignitaries.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior also met privately with Saudi students studying in Boston, and concluded the meeting by presenting Robert Morgan with a plaque in appreciation for our partnership.
Embassy English Melbourne recently hosted a Saudi Cultural Day, an example of how we are bringing English to life through sharing our students’ heritage.
Thank you to the Saudi Ministry of Interior, honored delegates, and the Embassy English Boston team.
