Do you want to know what student life is really like at our Embassy English Schools? Let’s look at some of the intriguing pictures our schools post on social media from around the world, and dig a little deeper to find out the story behind the photo. Here’s one from Embassy English Gold Coast, one of our four study centres in Australia.
Zoom in and take a closer look at what’s going on…
In this photo are some of the students from Gold Coast Campus, Camila from Brazil, Sue and Hoyong from Korea, Constance from France, Daniel from Columbia, and maybe even one headless teacher, James, wearing white trousers!
Every last Friday of the month, we have ‘Free Food Friday’! On this particular day, we have provided free pizza. The students are all about to dig in, enjoy the pizza and talk with their school mates about their past week and plans for the weekend.
We are in the student common area, which is on level 4 just outside the classrooms. It’s a great place to chill out before and after class.
Five minutes before this photo was taken, we were listening to speeches from our graduating students, clapping, cheering, laughing and some of us were crying! We’ll miss you!!!
Five minutes after this photo was taken, almost all the pizza had disappeared and many happily satisfied students were still hanging out together.
Five paces to the right you would see many students relaxing on the sofas eating more pizza and chatting with their friends from all around the world.
Five paces to the left you would see some of the graduating students taking photos with their classmates and teachers, while eating pizza!
Mouth-watering, noisy and (so much) fun!
At Embassy we love to see our students interacting with each other outside the classroom. The students talk in English together no matter what level, Elementary to Advanced, all having a great conversation while enjoying an experience together.
Sunny, exciting and vibrant. Life’s all about balance, right? At our English school in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast it’s easy to get the balance right – study hard, then have fun!
