Study is synonymous with concentration, dedication and discipline, but sometimes we do not know where the best places to develop those skills are. With that in mind, I decided carry my English book and walk around Melbourne. It was such an extraordinary experience! It turned out that I enjoyed studying more if I found different places to do it.
After my exploration, I would recommend going these next places where, for sure, it can be a great pleasure to study:
Close to the popular Flinders Railway Station, there is a cosy café called Journal. The environment is magnific to study, as it is decorated with vintage material and has stands with books and magazines. In addition, it is an excellent place to share coffee with your classmates while you are studying and chatting.
The Embassy English building is colourful place. On each floor there are different spaces where the students can sit quietly and share with their classmates. Likewise, Embassy English has a modern library, which is specially adapted to find all kind of books to improve your language skills.
If you love the nature as me, the best idea is going to Fitzroy Gardens. Located in the east of the city, that popular gardens are ideal to focus on your studies because there isn’t any noise. Just bring your book, some snacks and find one of the big trees to sit under. If you choose this option, I assure you that it will help you to learn much easier.
I know that the beach is a popular place to take a rest and practice fancy summer activities. But why not bring your book and notes and just hear the sound of the sea, while you are studying that topic for your next test? Tell me if it is not a perfect zone to feel motivated, plus it is super cool!
In front of the most fashionable library of Melbourne -certainly I’m talking about The State Library– there is a ground where everybody goes to study, take a break or just relax. Even though the library is there, each Melbournian seems to prefer to study on the grass or in park chairs where it is possible to admire the living in the city while you are learning.« Previous post
