Embassy English Student Ambassadors participate in Orientation Day presentations and extracurricular activities, and they offer valuable advice about site-seeing, local cultural events, and adjusting to life far away from home. These Ambassadors act as a “buddy-system” for our students, so that everyone has a peer who has already experienced Embassy and can be an adviser and new friend from day one. This week, we met with Rogerio, a Brazilian Student Ambassador to Embassy Brisbane.
I’m from Brazil (was born in São Paulo), but I’m living in Curitiba for 23 years. Before Embassy I used to work in a multi-national company as a Logistics Coordinator and due to the crisis moment in Brazil I first decided to open my own business, I worked as a Logistics Consultant and then come to Australia.
My level of English was High Intermediate, once I used to study English for a long time before and speak sometimes in my last job. I improved a lot since I arrived here, I left Embassy in Advanced level and now I’m speaking fluently.
Because It’s the best way to learn English, from you wake up every day to go to the bed (definetly it’s the best method to learn).
My agency in Brazil showed me the options and recommend Embassy as the best English school.
In my opinion, was the personal knowledge of all teachers mixing the theory with practice.
Has been pretty good, because now I can speak with everyone using all sort of resources without problems.
The listening has helped me a lot, once before Embassy I was totally rusty and after school and practice together everything is getting better.
The treatment received for all staff and teachers and the relationship that will be forever.
I like to stay with my wife, watch movies, walking around, play my guitar, go to the beach, etc…
The difference between cultures and people’s education.
Yes, teacher Adam, Chris, Mark and Brendan.
Certainly will help me so much in the future, especially professionally.
Yes, of course I would. I believe that there are some things that can be improved, but for sure I recommend.
Now, I’m waiting for my new visa and I’m going to study an International Business course.
To God, my wife, family and everybody that support me during this experience.« Previous post
