One of the greatest parts of being a student at Embassy English are the experiences. Students come to Embassy not only to improve their English language skills, but also to explore new parts of the world, to take part in diverse cultural activities, and to meet people from all over the globe. This week, Ranim Alobagi from Syria tells us more about her experience at Embassy English, as part of our series, My Embassy Life.
I’m from Syria. I live in Saudi Arabia; I am a designer of traditional clothing. I market it and sell it online.
I took diploma of English at a university in Saudi Arabia.
Because I believe that studying English abroad gives you the American accent, which I dream to reach. Also, you learn faster than studying English in your country. I also want to learn a new culture, and the education is stronger in America.
I heard about it from a friend. The reputation for Embassy is also very strong.
It’s very good. All of the teachers are the best. They respect the students, are patient. They quality of teaching here is very good. There are many workshops, they do trips for us. The students are very polite here.
Speaking with American people, watching movies, and attending workshop classes.
Yesterday I went to the Hard Rock Café with students and it was interesting.
Go with my friends and listen to music, walk around, discover the country. I love to travel; this is my hobby.
Newbury Street, downtown, and Assembly.
I think all of the food is really tasty in the USA.
English is the first language in the world, and it is very important to speak English. Everything in the world now is English!
Yes of course. I will tell my sisters to come here.
I want to study for my Master’s.
All of the teachers.
