Tell us about yourself!
Hello! My name is Gabriela Pinho, I am a nurse for training but I have been working for 3 years as a fashion blogger in Brazil. I came to the United States to study English.
What course were you taking at Embassy?
I studied Intensive English.

What was your level of English before you started Embassy?
My English level was level 1.
Why did you want to learn English abroad?
Because abroad you study English and live daily with people who speak English.
What made you choose Embassy English?
I got some directions from the travel agency, researched and chose Embassy English.

What’s the best thing about learning English with us?
The ease in learning everything faster.
How has your English improved?
I didn’t improve 100% because I only studied for 4 weeks, but it improved a lot compared to what it was.
What has helped you to improve your English the most?
The ability of teachers to teach the language.

What’s your favourite memory so far?
My graduation at Embassy English because time shortly at school but I met amazing people.
How do you think speaking English will help you in the future?
Because I want to travel a lot around the world, and English is a fundamental language in other countries.
Would you recommend Embassy English to other students?
Of course! The school has a good location and structure, great teachers, students from different countries and is very organized.

What do you plan to do after your English course?
I plan to continue studying English in Brazil and to do an exchange every year.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like going to the beach and getting to know the city.
What surprised you most about this experience?
All! The difference of culture, food, rules.

Who would you most like to say thank you to and why?
To God, for allowing me to live something so perfect.
What are your top 3 favourite places in this city?
Hollywood, Venice and Santa Mônica.

Were there any teachers at your centre that helped you to succeed?
All the teachers helped me to learn a little more of the language, but Dona’s class is the best.
