Why did you want to learn English abroad?

I studied English in my country more than 20 years, but I still had many problems. I was not confident and could not fluently speak. Therefore, I decided to study English in the country where I can dream in English and I can wake up with English using it everyday. These reasons are why I came to the United States to learn English.

What made you choose Embassy English?

My colleague came to study at Embassy English before I had come for 4 months. I saw his progress week by week and he can speak fluently within 3 months. This was surprising to me, then I researched this school and found out that Embassy English has more than 40 years experience and is accredited by many well-known standardized organizations.

I am confident that I am going to be great in English after I finish courses from this school.

What is the best thing about learning English with us?

Every lesson has many topics or questions for discussion and suggestion. For my perspective, learning English effectively is using it after knowing it, so it will be collected in our long term memory. This reason is why I think that talking in class is the best.

How has your English improved?

I used English everyday with my classmates, housemates, and friends. I note new vocabularies in my phone and learn them during transportation. I begin to learn IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet,) and practice pronouncing all the words again. Because I have known them incorrectly, I need to make them correct. I this that it might be a huge effort, but it is sustainable.

What has helped you to improve your English the most?

I think the United States is the thing that helps me improve most because this is the place where I meet the best school, the best teacher and the best people who help me use English everyday.

I always watch Netflix during leisure everyday. Not only is it fun, but it helps me improve listening skills also.

What’s your favourite memory so far?

My favourtie memory here is the first time when I meet my mentor accidentally, the first time when I toured in Harvard University and the first time when my airplane was landing in Boston and I see snow.

My first snow and first day in the United States. I was falling in love at first sight here. My first morning I woke up early for playing in the snow and making a snowman.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I always like to walk in Harvard University and read books at Boston Public Library after school. Moreover, I like to walk around Boston and explore new things. Sometimes I get new ideas when I walk around alone. On the weekend, I always go to Boston Buddha Vararam Temple.
