Each month our Embassy English centres plan a variety of activities where students can both explore their new host cities and have creative ways to bring their English language skills to life. Each centre compiles monthly calendars highlighting the upcoming social events, local cultural tours, and travel adventures where everyone can make new friends and practice speaking English. Embassy English New York students are celebrating diversity with Cultural Day on campus, visiting the United Nations, and exploring Washington D.C. on the weekend.
Embassy English San Diego is improving their language skills during Newspaper Club, learning the names of animals at the San Diego Zoo, and learning about Belgium at Cultural Day.
Embassy English San Francisco students are celebrating Valentine’s Day with a Bake Sale, attending Japanese Cultural Day, and taking the trip of a lifetime to exciting Las Vegas.
Embassy English Toronto is learning how to ski and snowbird at Snow Valley Mountain, making new friends during Canadian Conversation Club, and exploring the Distillery District.
Embassy English Cambridge is making new friends while rock climbing and punting, attending Aladdin the Musical, and visiting historic Edinburgh, Scotland on the weekend.
Embassy English London students are learning about Korean culture with dinner and karaoke, visiting the Tate Modern museum, and spending the weekend visiting Oxford and Cambridge.
Embassy English Auckland students are improving their English skills with weekly Conversation Clubs, getting into shape with Zumba classes, and visiting Lake Taupo and The Bay of Islands on the weekend.
Embassy English Brisbane is attending the Brisbane Comedy Festival, visiting Moreton Island, attending free yoga classes, and shopping at the South Bank Young Designer Market.
Embassy English Gold Coast students are meeting up with friends for Free Pizza Fridays on campus, taking surfing lessons, and attending the Springbrook Rainforest Day tour.
Embassy English Melbourne is making new friends at weekly Soccer and Conversation Clubs, and spending the weekends checking out White Night Melbourne and the Melbourne Aquatic Centre.
Embassy English Sydney students are celebrating Luna New Year with a dragon boat race at Cockle Bay Wharf, taking a scenic bike ride to Manly Beach, and checking out the Serbian Festival at Darling Harbour.
